Case of the Month: August 2008

08/01/2008

This case of the month is presented by Dr. Sloan Dupree
The case is a 10 year old DSH which presented for an ultrasound due to vomiting and ADR. We wanted to rule out any evidence of obvious GI disease, obstruction, or malignancy. Of particular concern was the well defined mineral opacity of the caudoventral abdomen, to the right of midline, and the questionable clinical significance of the lesion.
